The invention relates to a method for obtaining 3-D-effect images with several depths of field made by superposing two images. The method consists in superposing two images, parallel with variable separation; the one in the background is made on a transparent support after local corrections of the colour intensity. On the transparent support, at various points on this same image, variations in opacity are supplied by a white framed impression. The method according to the invention is intended for making 3-D-effect images in photography, printing, and reproduction graphics. It finds its application in publishing and advertising. <IMAGE>
