PURPOSE:To make a device of a small size and light weight, make manufacturing easy, and reduce manufacturing cost by constituting such that the movement of a chassis is restricted when a lock lever is locked and that the chassis can move in the width direction of a recording paper sheet when the lock lever is released. CONSTITUTION:At one end of a chassis 2 is arranged a freely swingable lock lever A provided with a lock cam 11 capable of engaging with or disengaging from a part 1a of a fixing member 4. The rock cam 11 has a 1st cam surface 13 and a 2nd cam surface 14. When the lock lever A is swung to a lock position, the 1st cam surface 13 engages with a part 9 of a fixing member 4 to fix the position of the chassis 2. When the lock lever A is swung to a release position on the other hand, the 2nd cam surface 14 opposes the part 9 of the fixing member 4 without engagement to allow the movement of the chassis 2. In this way, the constitution of a paper tractor is simplified, manufacture is made easy, manufacturing cost is reduced, and the size and weight of a device is reduced.
