PURPOSE:To obtain a capacitor whose LC value is reduced, by forming a conductive high molecular chemical compound by vapor phase polymerization, after a porous dielectric layer is treated with an oxidizing agent mixed with an dopant action imparting agent and performing an electrolytic treatment in a solution containing the dopant action imparting agent. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum foil is applied to an electrode, and the surface is electrochemically etched by alternating action of DC and AC, to obtain a porous surface having holes wherein the average pore diameter is 0.1mum, and the specific surface area is about 15 times larger than the diameter. A dielectric oxide coating film of Al2O3 is formed on the surface, by an electrochemical treatment in ammonium borate solution. A treatment is performed under reduced pressure and application of pressure by using a solution containing tetra methyl ammonium hydrogen sulfate of 8.3wt.%, ammonium persulfate of 25wt.% and gamma-butyl lactone of 5wt.%. Then the foil is put in a closed vessel containing 3-methyl pyrrole in the state of wet surface, and subjected to vapor phase polymerization to grow a conductive high molecular layer on the dielectric layer.
