In the case of known driver's cabs, when the cab, on the one hand, and raised roof, on the other hand, are transported separately, moisture, dirt or the like may penetrate in an undesired manner. The object of the invention is to provide a simple and reliable protective seal. The invention provides a temporary roof (5) which can be attached either to the cab (3), which is open at the top, or to the raised roof (2), which is open at the bottom, to be precise in particular to the same attachment points (10) which are provided for the attachment of the raised roof (2) to the cabin (3).
