<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the total treatment time by confining blocks of plastic waste intermittently within a duct through a pretreatment chamber and carrying out respective processes of compression, heating, melting, cooling and solidifying continuously in the treatment duct. CONSTITUTION:Plastic waste thrown into the hopper 1, is preliminarily compressed at compression rooms 2.5 and is transferred into the pretreatment chamber 10 of the treatment duct 11. The treatment duct 11 is constituted of a pretreatment chamber 10, a heating chamber 12 and a cooling chamber 13, of almost similar inner surface shape, which are disposed in order. An opening of compressed blocks of plastic waste is provided in said pretreatment chamber 10, and a duct cylinder 14 pressing the blocks confine it therein and forcedly remove it into the heating chamber 12. The duct cylinder 14 is provided in front of the pretreatment chamber 10. Also, a cooling means for variable volume 30 with adjustable cooling capacity is provided in the cooling chamber 13 to cool the blocks 20 to be pressed into the cooling chamber 13 and solidify the same to be removed. In other words, the treatment time of one cycle can be shortened by executing a process series of compression, melting and solidifying like a conveyor work, and the constitutional restoration of compressed blocks in the melting and solidifying processes is minimized to achieve a high volume decrease ratio.</p> |
