摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized device having the high speed response by constituting a rotary mechanism for an optical scanning plate by using an eccentric cam fitted eccentrically with a rotary shaft and a driving plate which clamps the cam, and driving the driving plate by a piezoelectric actuator. CONSTITUTION:The optical scanning device consists of a parallel flat plate 6 which displaces light emitted by an object 1 and converged by a lens 2 by making a reciprocal scan and causing the light to project on the surface of a solid-state image pickup element 5, the rotary mechanism 8 which scans this flat plate 6 reciprocally by a prescribed angle, and the laminate type piezoelectric actuator 9. The rotary mechanism 8 consists of the eccentric cam 10 formed of a hard rubber material provided in contact with one circumference of the rotary shaft 7 of the parallel flat plate 6 and the driving plate 11 which clamps the eccentric cam 10 with two open sides. The tip of the driving rod 12 of the piezoelectric actuator 9 is fitted to one open side of the driving plate 11. The driving rod 12 moves reciprocally as shown by an arrow by the vibration of the piezoelectric actuator 9, and the driving plate 11 fitted the tip of the driving rod 12 and the eccentric cam 10 clamped to the driving plate 11 also move reciprocally, so that the parallel flat plate 6 rotates reciprocally.
