A terminal (2) is made of a good electric conducting material such as brass and has a hole (22) in the centre and four legs (24) on the four corners of a rectangular plate. The terminal is used to mount a threaded terminal-type electronic component such as a capacitor (1) onto a printed circuit board (3). The legs (24) of the terminals are inserted into small holes (31) on the board and soldered to an electric circuit (33). Then the terminals (11,12) of the threaded terminal-type electronic component are screwed onto the terminal plates (2) through large holes (32) on the board. This secures the electronic component onto the printed circuit board.
