PURPOSE:To obtain a clad material easily and continuously by feeding the metal plate of a clad material to the mold of a continuous casting machine together with a molten steel and drawing it from the mold. CONSTITUTION:A pair of clad material feeding devices 20 is provided by opposing each other at the upper part of a mold 12 along its inner wall. A molten steel 36 is fed to the mold 12 via a nozzle 16 and a tundish 14 from a ladle 15. A strip 19 is guided by a guide roll 26 via the pinch roll 32 giving a tension, a high frequency heating device 30 and the roll 28 for removing a curvature from an uncoiler 24 and transferred into the mold along a side wall. In the mold 12, this clad material is drawn while being cooled as a casting piece 34. On the clad material the rolled steel stock 36 for general structure and a stainless steel stock 19 are superposed on both faces as a base metal. The clad material can thus be easily and continuously obtd.
