PURPOSE:To alleviate lateral unbalance force effected in a hull by attaching a lift force generating horizontal foil to the lower section of a main foil mast planted on the hull. CONSTITUTION:A main foil 2 is installed on a hull 1. The main foil 2 is composed of a mast 4 having its lower end supported to the hull 1 through a universal joint 3, a boom 5 extending from the lower section of the mast 4 and a jib 6. Further, a horizontal foil 7 projecting sidewise from the mast 4 below the jib 6 is provided to the main foil 2. The horizontal foil 7 is composed of a boom 8 and a sail supported to the boom 8, and produces a lift force for maintaining the inclined angle of the mast 4 at a constant value.
