PURPOSE:To attain a fail-safe measure, by installing a code producing section which produces codes indicating attributes to input-output substrates and, at the same time, providing a means which collates and checks the previously set code of each substrate. CONSTITUTION:A code producing means 1 produces codes indicating the kind and attribute of plural input-output substrates connected with the means with input-output buses. A collating means 1 collates the code of a previously mounted input-output substrate with a produced code. Namely, when one of the input-output substrates 2 is mounted at the time of system rise, etc., the producing means 1 produces codes indicating the kind and attribute of the substrate and the collating means 1 collates the produced code with a stored code of the substrate when normally mounted. When the input-output substrate is mounted on a wrong position, the result of the collating means 1 gives a difference and a warning means 6 outputs a warning which indicates the wrongly mounted substrate 2. Therefore, a fail-safe measure can be attained. |
