PURPOSE:To reduce stains on a background by forming a second dielectric layer made of a resin alone on a first dielectric layer containing a pigment. CONSTITUTION:The first dielectric layer to be formed on a conductive base body is composed mainly of the resin and the pigment having an average particle diameter of >=5mum, and the second dielectric layer to be formed on said layer is made of the resin alone same as that of said layer in an attached amount of 1-10g/m<2>. It is preferred to form the second layer by the coating method adapted to attaching a constant amount to paper, such as the spraying method or a gravure roll method, thus permitting the obtained electrostatic recording paper to be reduced in background stains and adapted to the color electrostatic recording method. |
