PURPOSE:To constituted the titled device so that it can be coupled to an apparatus conforming to a generation communication system, as well, and also, to give and receive information between each apparatus, by providing a transmission station having an interface, a distributed shared memory, a transmission control means and a transmitting/receiving circuit. CONSTITUTION:A data which is transmitted to a transmission station Si from a connected apparatus Ci is stored in a prescribed area of a distributed shared memory 4 through an interface 2 and a transmission control means 3. Subsequently, when the station Si has the right of transmission, a stored data in the memory 4 is brought to broadcast communication to other transmission station through a transmitting/ receiving circuit 5 and a transmission line L by the means 3, and when the transmission is ended, the right of transmission is delivered to other station. On the other hand, the station which is brought to broadcast communication compares said data with a data in the memory 4 through its own circuits 5, 3, and when they are different, instead of the data stored already, the transmitted data is stored in the prescribed area by the means 3, and an interrupting signal is outputted to the connected apparatus Ci. In such a way, this device can be coupled to an apparatus conforming to a general communication system, as well, and information can be given and received between each apparatus.
