PURPOSE:To avoid a complicated manufacture process and manufacture installation and to prevent a silicon membrane from peeling off or removal, by placing a silicon insulator sheet between a contact maker and a case. CONSTITUTION:This circuit breaker has an electric circuit 6 with contact makers 4 and 5 for switching at the center, and a silicon insulator sheet 7, as well as furnishing a case 1 and terminals 2 and 3. The sheet 7 is placed between the contact maker 4 and the case 1, and held by fixing the contact maker 4 to a stand 8. As a result, the sheet 7 can be installed simply, and can be manufactured easily, while the manufacture installation can be made simple compared with the method of spreading a silicon resin. And since the sheet 7 is made of a silicon rubber, no peeling-off of the silicon is made regardless of a long time operation or the influence of the arc generated, and no trouble of contact connection owing to the attachment of the peelings to the contact surface occurs.
