PURPOSE:To treat the upper and lower parts of a material to be treated under the same conditions by arranging many spray nozzles provided on both sides of the traveling direction of the material to be treated so that the side view of all the nozzle takes the shape of a rhomboid. CONSTITUTION:Many spray nozzles 6 provided on both sides of the traveling direction of the material 1 to be treated such as an automobile body are arranged so that the side view of all the nozzles takes the shape of a rhomboid. The two upper and lower sides of the rhomboid are paralleled with the traveling direction of the material 1, and the two front and rear sides of the rhomboid are inclined toward the lower part of the input side of the material 1 at least at an angle of 30 deg. to the perpendicular. As a result, the pressure of a spray soln. is uniformly exerted on the surface of the material 1 without being disturbed by the flowing layer of a processing soln., and the upper and lower parts of the material 1 can be treated under the same treating conditions.
