PURPOSE:To enhance the quality of a gelatin film and to miniaturize a soft capsule manufacturing machine, by arranging a drum at the front surface position of the soft capsule manufacturing machine in a direction capable of feeding the gelatin film to a capsule die roll without converting the laterial direction thereof and recirculating cooling water in the drum while cooling said drum from the outside by cooling air. CONSTITUTION:A drum 1 is arranged at the front surface position of a soft capsule manufacturing machine in a direction capable of feeding the gelatin film 4 shaped on the peripheral surface of the drum 1 to a capsule die roll 3 without converting the lateral direction thereof. The cooing system of the drum 1 is constituted by together using a water cooling system and an air cooling system and, since the gelatin film 4 is efficiently cooled by the water cooling system, a cooling system can be made short. That is, since the drum 1 may be small, the soft capsule manufacturing machine can be miniaturized.
