摘要 PURPOSE:To enlarge an inspecting range by setting one clamp device to a clamp state, at the time of movement, releasing the clamp of the other clamp device, and thereafter, lifting up the device to the outside of a piping to be inspected. CONSTITUTION:First of all, a clamp device 1 is set to a clamp state and a clamp device 2 is unclamped, and a part between bodies 3, 4 is expanded. In this state, the bodies 3, 4 are fixed, and also, the whole is swung by a 1-pitch portion of a pipe. Subsequently, a piping 14 is clamped by lifting down the device 2 in the direction of the piping 14, and by unclamping the device 1, the bodies 3, 4 are fixed and swung to a position of the piping 14. In the same way, by lifting down the device 1, the piping 14 is clamped, and the movement is ended. Also, one clamp device is unclamped, and by a Y axis driving mechanism, the bodies 3, 4 are extended in the axial direction by a necessary distance and clamped, and by unclamping the other clamp device, the bodies 3, 4 are contracted and clamped, by which the position in the axial direction of the piping is corrected, and also, by repeating this operation and moving in the axial direction of the piping, the inspection is executed.
