The invention relates to new pharmaceutical compositions having a laxative action, which contain as active principles a laxative of vegetable origin extracted from ispaghula and a lubricant laxative in pulverulent form which consists of hardened microspheres containing liquid paraffin in combination or mixed with inert excipients or diluents. The invention finds it use in the pharmaceutical field.
