PURPOSE:To reduce the exposure by providing an inspecting device body for inspecting piping, and a clamp means for clamping piping to be inspected, on a running body for running on a rail for crossing a piping group, so that it moves from the piping group to the piping group. CONSTITUTION:A running body 2 is slid along a rail 1 which has been attached in the orthogonal direction against pipes 1, 2. Also, from both ends of the running body 2, supporting arms 3, 4 are projected, and an inspecting device body 6 provided with various sensors such as a TV camera, etc. is provided on guides 9, 10 of a body supporting member 5 which is attached so as to be rotatable to an axis 8. Subsequently, a clamp device which has grasped piping 11 is released, the running body 2 is slid along the rail 1 and moved to a position of piping 12, and the piping 12 is clamped. Next, the inspection is executed, while moving the body 6 around the piping 12 by a driving device. In such a way, by moving automatically said body from the piping group to the piping group, the exposure can be reduced remarkably. |
