发明名称 PRECISION CASTING METHOD OF SMALL PARTS
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable precision casting of small parts by melting the metal to be cast by high frequency induction current from the outside of a nonconductive casting while inserting said metal into the casting cavity in the mold in the form of a fine bar thereby casting the same into the casting cavity. CONSTITUTION:An upper casting mold 1 and a lower casting mold 21 for precision casting are made of a nonconductive refractory material such as quartz glass, alumina, magnesia or the like, and casting cavities 2, 22 are beforehand formed therein, respectively. The upper and lower molds 6, 5 are combined and while a wire 51 of the metal to be cast is fed into the cavity 2 by the rotation of rolls 41 through an introducing hole 3 provided in the mold 1, electricity is conducted to a high-frequency inductor 31 provided on the outside circumference of the molds 1, 21 to heat and melt the metal in the hole 3 and the cavities 2, 22 and to fill the molten metal in all the corners in the casting cavities; thereafter, the current is interrupted and the cast metal is cooled to solidify. The molds 6, 5 are parted and a casting 52' is removed. The precision casting of the small sized parts is made easy.
