Vehicle platform

The vehicle platform has at least two aluminium supports (1, 2) running in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and a multiplicity of profiled aluminium rods (3) which are arranged in the transverse direction of the vehicle, are connected fixedly to one another and to the supports, serve as platform planks and form the supporting surface. At those points at which the rods (3) rest on the supports (1, 2), they are bonded to them, this glued joint forming the only attachment between the profiled rods and the supports. As a result, it is possible rapidly and reliably to assemble a platform without any subsequent work being necessary. A further advantage which should not be underestimated consists in that the defective aluminium platform can be melted down without parts made of foreign material having to be removed beforehand. <IMAGE>
