PURPOSE:To detect the extent of quick movement of an image with a simple constitution by performing the correlation operation between images on the basis of Fourier spectrums of two images. CONSTITUTION:Space optical modulators 3 and 4 are illuminated through a collimator lens 2 by the luminous flux from a laser 1. A television signal 5 is switched in every one frame or field by an analog switch 6 and is sent to drivers 7 and 8 alternately and is written in space optical modulators 3 and 4. The Fourier spectrum of the written image is recorded in a space optical modulator 10 by a Fourier transform lens 9. Meanwhile, the luminous flux of a read laser 11 is made incident on the modulator 10 through the lens 9 and is allowed to pass the lens 9 again and is subjected to Fourier transform and is led onto a solid-state image pickup element surface 12. Thus, the position of the correlation spot generated by Fourier transform is detected and is com pared with a reference position for movement of the image to detect the extent of relative quick movement between two images.
|
