A method of producing moulded articles from glass carbon or CFC employs a casing of a material having a high hydrogen diffusion coefficient eg titanium. At pressures of 10 to 5000 bars and temperatures of between 600 and 1000 DEG C, the production time for such moulded articles can be considerably shortened.
