Insulating building board, consisting of mutually bonded layers of corrugated board, a sound-insulating material such as foam, textile or felt and a covering layer, characterised by the following construction: a) a first nonwoven layer (10); b) a first corrugated board (12), bonded to the first nonwoven layer, with flutes running in a first direction; c) a second corrugated board layer (14), bonded to the first corrugated board layer (12), with flutes running in a second direction; d) a second nonwoven layer (16) bonded to the second corrugated board layer; e) a layer (18) of the sound-insulating material bonded to the second nonwoven layer; and f) a covering layer (20). <IMAGE>
