PURPOSE:To improve transfer efficiency by combining a longitudinal effect type piezoelectric element having a polarization axis in the thickness direction and a shearing effect type piezoelectric element having a polarization axis in the lateral direction orthogonal to the thickness direction. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric driver is composed of the combination of a longitudinal effect type piezoelectric element 1 having a polarization axis in the thickness direction and a shearing effect type piezoelectric element 2 having a polarization axis in the lateral direction orthogonal to the thickness direction. the longitudinal effect type piezoelectric element 1 and the shearing effect type piezoelectric element 2 are laminated in mutually electric parallel, and joined integrally by adhesives 3. Spheroidal vibrations in which thickness vibrations generated when voltage is applied to the longitudinal effect type piezoelectric element 1 and sliding vibrations generated when voltage is applied to the shearing effect type piezoelectric element 2 are overlapped are generated in a driving surface 11a. Accordingly, constitution can be simplified, and the piezoelectric driver, vibration loss of which is also reduced and which has high carrying efficiency, is acquired. |
