PURPOSE:To reduce the production cost of an exposure light source for color image by using a photosensitive material where a photosensitive layer consisting essentially of a titanium dioxide and a binder is laminated on a conductive base material and exposing this photosensitive material by the exposure light source consisting of a CRT which has the intensity of light at least in 400-420nm wavelength range. CONSTITUTION:Since a photosensitive sheet S formed by coating an TiO2 and a binder on the conductive base material has the very high degree of whiteness by finely powdering the TiO2 itself, the influence of the foundation color of a photosensitive layer supporting body including the conductive layer is almost completely eliminated. The spectral sensitivity of the TiO2 has a peak in the range of lambda=400-420nm, and a material which has a light-emission intensity distribution in the range of lambda=400-420nm where the TiO2 has a peak of sensitivity is relatively easily obtained with respect to the phosphor of a line type CRT 9 which exposes the sheet S on the drum 6. Since the same light-emission wavelength of the exposure CRT is used for R, G, and B, the cost is reduced by the common use.
