PURPOSE:To render preparation of a resin-coated carrier safe and easy by coating the surface of the carrier with a ultraviolet hardenable acrylic resin. CONSTITUTION:The carrier of the title is coated with the ultraviolet hardenable acrylic resin and has an average particle diameter of 10-200mum, preferably, in a coating amount of 0.1-5wt.% of the carrier particles, and if the coating amount is less than it, the carrier surface cannot be perfectly coated, resulting in deteriorating stability against environmental conditions, and if the amount is over said range, an electrically chargeable amount is reduced and peeling of the coat occurs. It is preferred to use the ferrite carrier, thus permitting the obtained carrier to be small in change of electric resistivity due to time lapse, and good in reproductivity. |
