PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity of a magenta color image, and the gradation and the color density of an image, by incorporating a specified magenta coupler in the titled coupler. CONSTITUTION:One or more kinds of triazole type magenta couplers shown by formula I or II are incorporated in a color photosensitive material. In the formulas, R1 is hydrogen atom. or alkyl group, etc., R2 is alkyl or aryl group, etc., R3 is hydrogen or halogen atom., etc., X is hydrogen atom. or a group capable of releasing with a coupling reaction, (n) is 0-4. The photosensitive material contg. the titled coupler is developed with a color developer contg. an aromatic primary amine developing main agent, and the magenta color image formed from the titled coupler is improved in durability against a light by using the titled coupler in combination with a color image stabilizer shown by formula III, wherein R10 is hydrogen atom. or alkyl group, R11-R15 are each hydrogen atom. or hydroxy group, etc.
