PURPOSE:To obtain a Ga-Sb alloy having good recording and erasing sensitivity, with which high reproducing output and god stability can be obtd. by specifying the compsn. ratio of Ga and Sb. CONSTITUTION:The titled alloy consists of 20-80wt.% Ga and the balance Sb and allows to obtain a phase change type recording medium having good stability and contg. no elements such as Se, Te, etc. hard to treat. In this way, the recording material suitable for DRAW type or rewritable type photorecording for which laser beams, etc., are used as the light source can be obtd. One or more kinds among about 0-10% Si, P, S, Zn, As, Se, Ag, Cd, In, Sn, Al, Te, Ta, Cu, Ge, Pb, Ni, Pa, Mn, Fe, Au and Mg are furthermore incorporated into said alloy if necessary. |
