PURPOSE:To always properly regulate the impact force of a recording wire by calculating the value relative to the density of dots to be actually recorded within a range at each range of recording data, and controlling an energizing time to a wire driving solenoid on the basis of its result. CONSTITUTION:A program for regulating the impact force of a recording wire and a predetermined value used during the execution of the program are recorded in a ROM 15. The program allows calculation of the number of dots actually recorded of dot pattern data stored in a print buffer 20 in each predetermined range, compares it with a predetermined value and regulates the energizing time of a wire driving solenoid on the basis of the compared result to regulate the impact force of the wire. A counter 22 contained in a CPU 10 counts the number of the dots to be actually recorded in a predetermined range of the dot pattern data stored into the buffer 20 on the basis of the program for regulating the impact force of the wire. |
