PURPOSE:To sufficiently protect a pulse charge electric source by performing interlock when pulse repetition frequency exceeds controllable frequency or even when an ignition signal sent to an ignition equipment from a controlling device exceeds the preset pulse time width. CONSTITUTION:A controlling device 3 is provided to a pulse charge control board 1 and an ignition equipment 4 is provided to a pulse charge electric source 2. When pulse repetition frequency exceeds controllable frequency exceeds controllable frequency or even when an ignition signal 6 sent to the ignition equipment 4 from the controlling device 3 exceeds the preset pulse time width, an abnormal detection signal 5 (hereinafter referred to as a fault signal 5) is sent to the controlling device 3 from the ignition equipment 4 and remedy for noise is performed by adopting a light communication system in the above- mentioned ignition signal 6 and adopting a current transmission system in the fault signal 5. As a result, the protection of the pulse charge electric source can be sufficiently performed and also resistance to noise is remarkably enhanced.
