<p>PURPOSE:To keep mixing conditions with drugs at a suitable state, by making the cross sectional area of a smoke duct, through which combustion flue gasses pass, reducible at a point where drugs are injected into or at any point in the down stream and by changing the reduction ratio of the cross sectional area of the smoke duct according to the flow rate of the flue gases. CONSTITUTION:Combustion flue gases introduced into a flue gas duct 1 pass through a throttled portion 2 together with slaked lime powder fed from a hopper 8 through a transfer line 10 and a nozzle 11 to add drugs so as to be mixed sufficiently with the slaked lime powder, with which HCl in the gases is reacted. At this moment, by detecting pressure before and after the throttled portion 2 by means of a differential pressure gauge 5 and regulating the cross sectional area of the throttled portion 2 by means of a control device 6, the fluid velocity of the gases is maintained approximately uncharged. Thereafter, the combustion flue gases pass through a dust collector 3, where the reaction products are collected, and is discharged by a blower 4.</p> |
