<p>Pyridoxy-phenoxy compounds of the formula wherein X is F, Cl, Br, I, or CF3, D is amino or nitro, and E is hydrogen or -CH(CH3)-COO alkyl, wherein alkyl is C1-C4 alkyl, provided that E is hydrogen when D is amino, are disclosed. These compounds find use in preparing the equivalent herbicidal 2-phenoxy propionic cyanamides.</p> |
