PURPOSE:To use a planar sound source to extend the life thereof and to obtain a sufficient shock wave, by using an induction type transmitter as the sound source. CONSTITUTION:The probe part bonded to an object under pressure consists of a vibration plate 10 composed of a circular non-magnetic conductive plate and the spiral coil 12 provided in close vicinity thereto. The coil 12 is connected to a condenser 13 through a resistor 16 and a switch 14 and voltage V is charged to the condenser 13 by a charge means 18 during a period when the switch 14 is opened. When the switch 14 is closed, a current flows to the coil 12 instantaneously to vibration plate 10. By repeating this charge and discharge, the vibration plate 12 can be driven repeatedly. Since a sound source is one having a planar emitting surface, constitution concentrating a sound wave to an objective region can be easily realized. Further, the life of the sound is long and repeated driving due to the repetition of charge and discharge is easy.
