PURPOSE:To obtain an industrially and advantageously producible heat-resistant polymer composition, consisting of an ABS based polymer and polyphenylene sulfide polymer and having excellent heat distortion resistance and tensile strength. CONSTITUTION:A heat-resistant polymer composition consisting of (A) 99-50pts. wt., preferably 99-70pts.wt. graft copolymer prepared by polymerizing 95-80wt.% mixture of 0-30wt.% vinyl cyanide compound with 30-80wt.% aromatic vinyl compound (preferably alpha-methylstyrene) and 0-70wt.% alkyl unsaturated carboxylate compound in the presence of 5-80wt.% ABS based polymer, preferably a conjugated diene based rubber having 0.05-1mu particle diameter and (B) 1-50pts.wt., preferably 1-30pts.wt. polyphenylene sulfide polymer, e.g. a polymer expressed by the formula (n is 100-10,000). |
