The invention relates to a method for filling, onto their support, hollow or cellular plastic panels with white or coloured polystyrene balls. The method consists of a funnel 1 placed on top of the cellular panel 2 in which an opening comprising a single membrane 3 will be formed via which the balls 4 will pass. A vibrator 5 will allow the balls to drop into the panels. Care will be taken to fix a suction pipe on the end of the panel 6, in a horizontal plane, in order to allow the balls to drop. In order to prevent the balls from being sucked up, the precaution will be taken to install a filter 7. The method according to the invention is particularly intended for filling cellular panels for the roofs of verandas, without dismantling the panels, thus making sure that the assembly is leaktight. <IMAGE>
