PURPOSE:To smoothly shift a shift piece by continuously installing the projecting pieces having each slotted hole on the shift piece and continuously installing the projecting pieces having each guide hole on an interlocking plate and installing a guide pin passing through the slotted hole and guide hole onto a machine body and installing a node device between the both projecting pieces. CONSTITUTION:When an operating lever is set at a neutral position, a shift piece 13 is set at a neutral position by a node device 27, and also the forks 7 and 8 are set at each neutral position by each node device. When a shift shaft 11 is slided in the axial direction by the operating lever, the shift piece 13 moves, guided by a guide pin 15 through the node device 27, interlocking plate 12, and a guide hole 19, and shifts in the engagement groove of the forks 7 and 8. Even if a step difference exists in the engagement groove or the arms 7c and 8c are separated, the shift piece 13 is guided only by the guide pin 15 without contacting the inner surface of the engagement groove, and the shift piece 13 can be smoothly transferred free from the resistance feeling due to the step difference, etc.
