PURPOSE:To prevent copies from being carried transversely and damaged by mounting both an engaging and disengaging means which engages and disengages a copy stocking part with and from a copy feeding port and a copy displacement restricting member which retracts when the copy stocking part is set opposingly to the feeding port and returns to the original position when the copy stocking part is released. CONSTITUTION:With 7a pile of held on either a copy stocking part 6 or 7 and restricted by a stopper 56, when a pile of copies is set on the copy stocking part 6, said part is brought to a point opposing to a copy feeding port 32 by the clockwise turning action of a copy stocking part moving means, and carried forward onto a feeding roller 15 by a copy stocking part engaging and disengaging part. At this time, the lower end part of the stopper 56 comes in contact with a falling-off member 24 and falls off forward about the center through a stopper shaft 55 so that said stopper becomes engaged in the retracting state. The semilunar feeding roller 15 turns to drive both a separation roller 11 and a separation belt 12, whereby extracting the piled copies one by one from the bottom. When the specified amount of the piled copies are fed thoroughly, the copy stocking part 6 is disengaged so that the stopper 56 is reset to restrict the displacement of the copies. Thus both the transverse proceeding of the copies and the damage thereto can be prevented.
