PURPOSE:To control an equipment with a different code system by one remote control transmitter by sampling at a frequency at an integral multiple of the frequency of a carrier of a code to be absorbed and storing the obtained code data in an address corresponding to a code assignment button. CONSTITUTION:A mode A button is depressed, a preset button is turned on to oppose a remote control photodetector 3 to a transmission section of the remote control sending side, an assignment button is depressed and the button of the sender side is depressed. Thus, the code to be absorbed is stored in an address corresponding to the button of a code data storgne RAM 8 and display data is stored in an address corresponding to a video RAM 12. When the mode button is depressed, the code data of the address corresponding to the said button is read from a RAM 8, radiated from the remote control transmission section 4 and function display data is read from the RAM 12 and displayed. Even when the code system differs, sampling is applied by a frequency of an integral multiple of the carrier frequency of the code by the photodetector 3 to take in the code. |
