<p>PURPOSE:To restrain overvoltage, by a method wherein the capacitor of a DC circuit is charged through a current limiting device and the DC circuit is provided with a DC overvoltage suppressor consisting of the seires circuit of a resistor and an intercepting device. CONSTITUTION:An AC linkage inverter is constituted of 3-phase self-exciting voltage type inverter units 11, 21, system linkage reactors 12, 22 and transformer units 13, 23 while the outputs of respective phases of AC coils 15, 25 are connected to an AC system 32 through AC switches 31. In this case, DC overvoltage suppressor 100 (a resistor 101 and a breaker 102) and a current limiting device 200 (a current limiting element such as a resistor 201 and the like and an AC switch 202) are provided. The capacitor 34 of an DC circuit is charged through the current limiting device 200. According to this constitution, the value of height of wave of a voltage, induced in the AC windings 14, 24 of transformer units 13, 23 may be limited while the waveform of a stationary voltage may be made to approach a sine wave much more and the overvoltage of the DC circuit may be suppressed by the DC voltage suppressor 100.</p> |
