PURPOSE:To provide an accumulator for absorbing a speed difference between sheeted articles with high responsiveness by detecting a rocking angle of an armed lever for supporting an elevation side roller system and providing a correcting elevation output to an elevation driving system. CONSTITUTION:When any speed difference is generated in an accumulator 3, an intermediate guide roller 6 is slightly revolved around a shaft 8 via an armed lever. A detector 13 detects rocking displacement of the armed lever, and the detected signal is applied to a speed control system of a DC motor M3 via a level setting unit 14 and a multiplier 15. Accordingly, when the intermediate guide roller is revolved around the shaft, the DC motor is actuated to permit an elevation speed difference to be immediately captured by the intermediate guide roller, and the correction is quickly effected, thus enabling variations of tension to be minimized. |
