<p>PURPOSE:To realize a 2-wire system at a low cost by setting the different levels between a clock and an information signal so that the clock is simply discriminated from the information signal with no use of a logic. CONSTITUTION:The data transmission equipment which also supplies power to a signal transmission line contains a controller 5 which turns on and off a power supply to supply the clocks and power, at least a single transmission station 6, at least a single reception station 7, and two common transmission lines 14 and 18 which connect two stations 6 and 7 to each other. Both stations 6 and 7 work in synchronism with the clock supplied from the controller 5. The station 6 obtains its own DC working power supply from the clock which is used in common as a power supply received from the controller 5 and at the same time transmits the digital information signals to both lines 14 and 18 at the different levels from the clocks. Then the station 7 obtains its own DC working power supply from the clock which is used in common as a power supply received from the controller 5 and at the same time discriminates the clock from the information signal based on the level difference between them. Thus two transmission lines suffices.</p> |
