PURPOSE:To surely and simply form the image of a desired picture on a film by providing a print mode with section to the print mode so as to designate the picture read range without using a monitor screen. CONSTITUTION:In a picture 30 outputted by the section print mode, the sections are recorded superimposingly onto the entire picture of the film read by an image sensor 6. The line width is made thick for a certain number of both longitudinal and lateral plotted lines in the sections, alphabets, A-I in longitudinal direction and O-Z in lateral direction, are printed in the vicinity of the lines and the operator observes the picture 30 and applies key input of the keyboard 21 for a desired picture range. Moreover, a control circuit 20 decides an information extraction address from a picture memory 22 in response to the signal representing the range designation from the board 21, sends the picture information of the designated range to a picture processing circuit 23, applies interpolation or interleaving of address information according to the magnification to control the image forming by a printer 24. Thus, a desired picture is formed simply and surely without monitor screen. |
