PURPOSE:To facilitate pulling out and winding in of cord by interlocking upper and lower reels arranged rotatably in a case having cord pull-out ports at the opposite sides each other, and energizing one reel in winding direction by means of a spring. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower reels 3, 4 rotatable around a shaft 5 are arranged in a case 1. Cord pill-out ports 13, 14 are provided at the opposite sides of the case 2, while furthermore rolls 22, 22' and 23, 23' supported on shafts 15, 15' and 16, 16' are provided. Respective rolls have pinion gears 25, 25' and 26, 26' and engage with a gear 8 at the outer circumferential edge of the reels 3, 4. The reel 3 is energized by a spring 6 in winding direction and restricted of its rotation by a stopper 7, When a cord 30 is pulled out in the direction of an arrow A while resisting against the spring 6, the roll 23 rotates through sliding to cause rotation of interlocked reels 3, 4 so as to feed the cord 30 in the direction of an arrow B. When the cord 30 is slightly pulled out and the stopper 7 is released, the spring 6 functions to wind the cord. Consequently, the cord can be handled easily and preferably applied on a earphone.
