PURPOSE:To expand two code data having short runs at one time by using a means which connects the production image data decided by the image run length data and the code run length data to the image data already produced. CONSTITUTION:The decoding image data is produced to the decoded codes together with the image run length data related to the run length of said decoding image data or the code run length data on the run length of the decoded code. At the same time, the production image data is outputted from the decoding image data. A production means connects the production image data received from a decoding processing means to the image data already produced based on the image run length data and also connects the production image data decided by the color control data supplied based on the code run length data to the image data already produced. Thus it is possible to expand a complicated image at a high speed.
