PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in the charge for a telephone call and to improve the response of communication changeover by providing a line acquisition detection section or the like so as to switch the communication by communication control equipment and the communication by a communication equipment such as a facsimile equipment or the like within one call. CONSTITUTION:A communication control equipment 1 starts personal computer communication by a command from a personal computer 2 and when a command of communication interruption exists, a signal representing the communication interruption is sent to a telephone set connection line 5, after the communication interruption processing is applied with an opposite communication controller. The facsimile equipment 3 detects the signal sent to the line 5 to switch the telephone line 4 into its own equipment from the position of the control equipment 1. Thus, a line acquisition detection section 21 in the equipment 1 detects the release of the line 4, and when the line 4 is switched to the controller 1 after the end of facsimile communication, the reacquisition of the line 4 is detected again. Then an information means provided to a control section 25 informs it to the personal computer 2 that the line 4 is acquired again. Thus, the talking changeover between the equipment 1 and the equipment 3 is attained within one call and the response of the changeover is improved without increasing the charge.
