PURPOSE:To provide the title toner with an offsetting preventing characteristic and superior fixing property at low temp. by using a specified modified epoxy resin together with a styrene/methyl acrylate copolymer as a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:An epoxy resin expressed by formula I is used together with a copolymer or styrene/methyl acrylate as a binder resin in a toner for developing an electrostatic latent image contg. at least a binder resin and a coloring agent. In formula I, R is an alkyl group, or an aryl group, etc.; R' is an OH group, or halogen, etc.; n is 2-20. By this constitution, a toner having superior offsetting preventing characteristics and superior fixing property at low temp. is provided. The toner causes no fusion-sticking in the processing stage of a master for screen printing, and exhibits superior characteristic for preventing polyvinyl chloride articles from stain. |
