PURPOSE:To reduce the man-hour for extraction and return of working mediums and to effectively use a preservation space by dividing a depository of working mediums and using actual results of the use of working mediums stored at the time of drawing forwarding work to manage preservation positions of working mediums in accordance with frequency in use. CONSTITUTION:A request storage means 1, a working medium preservation position storage means 2, a drawing forwarding work indicating means 3, a drawing forwarding work indication display means 4, a use actual result storage means 5, a preservation position update condition storage means 6, a preservation position updating means 7, and a preservation position display means 8 are provided. When mediums for drawing forwarding work which are used at the time of generating a copy of the drawing or the like requested by a user by working mediums are preserved, actual results of the use of respective mediums for drawing forwarding work are taken into consideration to automatically determine and manage such preservation positions that drawing forwarding work is most efficiently performed.
