PURPOSE:To improve the height precision, the positioning precision, the precision of the degree of parallel in a longitudinal direction, etc., of a corona wire and to reduce the variance of discharge by fixing a high voltage power source to an immobile member and setting and fixing a corona discharger to a guide member provided on the high voltage power source. CONSTITUTION:A high voltage power source 23 of the corona discharger is fixed to the immobile member, namely, a fixed shaft 8 as the shaft of a transfer drum, and the corona discharger is set and fixed to a guide 27 fixed to the high voltage power source 23. Consequently, a corona wire 17d or the like is attached to the fixed shaft 8, namely, the shaft of the transfer drum through the high voltage power source 23. Thus, the height and the position of the corona wire are determined with respect to the center of the transfer drum 2, and the height precision and the precision of the degree of parallel in the longitudinal direction of the corona wire are improved, and the stable corona discharge of less discharge variance and less electrification variance is obtained.
