PURPOSE:To improve the operability by reading a numerical value and a code of an arithmetic sheet, and calculating this numerical information by arithmetical operations designated by the code. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed table 12 is generated in advance on an arithmetic sheet 11, and also, a code for prescribing an arithmetic operation is entered into a space determined in advance of the sheet 11 so that a numerical value in the horizontal direction of this table 12 executes multiplication, and a numerical value in the vertical direction executes addition. As for this table 12, a unit price and quantity are entered in the horizontal direction, and other items are entered thereunder in the same way. The sheet 11 in which they have been entered is read by a read means and the arithmetic operation is executed, based on arithmetical operations which are set in advance in accordance with its code, and a result of operation is entered in a prescribed place of the sheet 11 by an entry means. In such a way, it becomes unnecessary to execute a calculation one by one by a computer, etc., and also, the calculation can be executed exactly. |
