PURPOSE:To obtain a high wear resistance without reducing a fatigue strength of a high tensile aluminum alloy forming an air straightening stationary blade for a turbo fan engine, by coating a nickel plating having a specific compressive stress as an internal stress on the aluminum alloy. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum alloy forming a stationary blade is treated in a plating bath containing sulfamine and aromatic sulfonic acid compound, especially, 1,3,6-naphthalene trisodium sulfonate, so as to form an electroplating of nickel having no tensile stress but having a compressive stress of 100-360kgf/ cm<2>. A thickness of the nickel plating is set to 50-200mum. Such nickel plating may provide a sufficient wear resistance against sand and dust colliding at a high speed without reducing a fatigue strength of the aluminum alloy.
